The Vet Station Molesey November blog

Another busy and fun packed month at The Vet Station Molesey, just the way that we like it.

A few of our team members went offsite for some CPD (training) in anaesthesia and stayed onsite for some ophthalmology training. We're already pretty skilled in both areas, but it's super important to keep up with the latest in medicine. That's why our team gets training every month on different aspects of veterinary medicine. This month, it was all about anaesthesia and ophthalmology! Because of this, we'll soon be offering more ophthalmology services, so no more long trips for those pesky non-healing ulcers!

We kicked off the BLACK FRIDAY deal a bit early, and the response has been awesome. I'm really happy we've been able to help so many pets with their dental care! Just a reminder, it's:

o   50% off dentistry for members of The Fire Plan

o   30% off dentistry for non members

If you haven't grabbed the offer yet but want to, it's available until December 31st. Just use the link below to book. Make sure to select ‘Dental Treatment’ and schedule it before 11 AM from Monday to Friday, as your pet will need to stay for the day for their treatment.

If your pet isn’t part of The Fire Plan yet and you want to know more about the perks like unlimited check-ups, monthly parasite treatments, yearly vaccines, and more, just check out the link below!

Our founder and head vet, Vanessa, had the chance to speak at the bustling and well-known London Vet Show in November. She shared some awesome success stories about the amazing community we've built and are super proud of here at the vet station.

Got an event where you'd like a vet to speak? Just let us know! Next month, she'll be talking in parliament with our favorite charity, Broken Biscuits, about animal welfare. Keep an eye out for updates in our next newsletter!

The entire team showed up in full swing for Magical Molesey last week, giving out free Baileys and goodies. We also hosted a ‘guess the name’ contest for our famous Dalmatian, drawn by the super talented Brenna. We announced the winner on our social media, and the dog’s name was... Santa Paws! The lucky winner is getting a box of chocolates and a pet first aid kit. Congrats!

Christmas opening hours!

If it's a bank holiday, we're closed. We'll be open like usual until Christmas Eve, but we'll close a bit earlier at 6 PM. We'll be closed on Christmas Day and Boxing Day too. Oh, and we're also closed on New Year's Day.

No worries, we've got you covered! Just make sure you've signed up for VidiVet. You can chat with a vet anytime, day or night, and they'll give you awesome help and advice. If they suggest you go to an emergency center, they'll point you in the right direction. When we're closed, our phones will automatically connect you to the out-of-hours service if you need urgent help.

Meet our pet of the month, the adorable Otis!

This charming French bulldog is 2 and a half years old and has already had surgery on both knees to fix his 'patellar luxation'—basically, his kneecaps weren't staying in place and would pop in and out. If left untreated, it could have caused him pain and trouble walking. Thankfully, both surgeries went well, and he's doing fantastic now!
